Brian Langley

Brian Langley received Bachelor’s degrees in Economics, Sociology and Psychology from the University of Tennessee where he also received a Master’s Degree in Criminology. Upon graduation, Brian served as a federal agent for the Department of Homeland Security. He was selected to the 2021 Missouri & Kansas Rising Stars list, an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice. Only 2.5% of attorneys in Missouri & Kansas receive this distinction.
Brian moved to St. Louis to attend law school. He received his Juris Doctorate as well as his Master of Laws from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. After graduation, Brian decided to put down roots in St. Louis and presently resides in the Creve Ceour and Maryland Heights area.
Years of practicing law as an attorney as well as years enforcing laws as a federal agent has afforded Brian a unique perspective with a vast amount of experience and knowledge. As an attorney, he understands how the system works and uses his knowledge to zealously advocate on his client’s behalf. Brian takes the time to listen to clients’ concerns and provides practical legal solutions to their unique issues. His goal is to ensure that his clients understand every part of the legal process as well as their rights moving forward.
Brian is a licensed attorney in both Missouri and Illinois. Accordingly, he can and does advocate for clients in both states.

Mike Ackerman

Attorney Profile

Mike Ackerman has worn many different hats within the area of family law. He was previously legal counsel for the Department of Social Services/Children’s Division and served for 7 years in that capacity as a Permanency Attorney, mainly focused in Jefferson County and St. Louis County. In addition to his time at Children’s Division, Mr. Ackerman served as Guardian ad Litem in the St. Louis County Juvenile and Family Court as Appointed Child Counsel and Appointed Parent Counsel.

Prior to his time in family law, Mr. Ackerman was in private practice, focused mainly on family law matters, personal injury and criminal law.

Mr Ackerman earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern Univ where he graduated with honors. His undergraduate degree is from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO where he earned a B.S. in Business.

When not engaged in the practice of law. Mr. Ackerman volunteers with local animal shelters and enjoys cooking, swimming and working on his house.
